What it is.
The Public Gaming Kiosk is a fully managed, locked-down gaming computer built specifically for public libraries. It removes the hassle of installing, updating, and supervising games; the system is safe for all ages and always ready to play.
Each kiosk is configured with an approved piece of software of your choice. Our first supported configuration is Minecraft, and we plan to add more approved titles over time. Whatever the software, the kiosk runs only the allowed software. Patrons can't browse the web, install software, change settings, or escape to a desktop.
Staff don't have to police it. You don't have to image it. We handle configuration, updates, monitoring, and support remotely, and your library keeps optional local controls through the admin dashboard. Drop it into your youth area, your teen space, or your makerspace, and let it run.

Supported Software
The Public Gaming Kiosk is a platform. Each kiosk is configured to run one approved piece of software, and that software is the only thing patrons can interact with. We maintain the list of supported titles and handle configuration end-to-end.
Our first supported configuration is Minecraft, one of the most beloved games in the world and one of the most powerful tools libraries have for engaging young patrons. It supports creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and digital literacy.
The challenge has always been deploying it. A general-purpose library PC running an approved game quickly becomes a general-purpose library PC running everything. Our kiosk solves that. Patrons walk up, the software is already running, and when they're done the next patron walks up and plays.
More approved software configurations are planned. If there's a title you'd like to see supported, let us know—we evaluate new options on an ongoing basis.
